Kroger interview questions

Very quick. Phone call with the corporate HR phone line and very informal meeting with hiring manager. More so there to fill out forms vs. have an actual interview. This may be due to COVID and the lack of applicants for this role, however.

The recruiter specifically told me they "will not give you any formal code challenge, just white boarding sorta stuff". She was completely wrong and the interview consisted of 4 white men asking me to code a chess board, as if this is what makes a shopping cart app. Horrible experience. Uptight corporate feeling to the whole thing. Wouldn't have wanted it regardless.
