Very short and to the point. I don't believe they screen their potential employees properly, because I feel that half the workers get paid to wander aimlessly around the store with their mouth wide open.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
"Have you worked in a grocery store before?" "Are you aware of food-safety protocols?"
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Kroger (Arlington, TX) in May 2017
Interview
My interview was brief and rather to the point. They were keen about weekend availability, so it's good to know your schedule ahead of time. I was asked about orientation availability immediately after. It was a low stress interview.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kroger (Jackson, MS) in Mar 2020
Interview
I found the interview fairly simple, only took about 20 minutes at most, with basic questions asked (example: what would you do if blank happened? How do you respond when a customer is rude? etc.)
