I applied online. I interviewed at Kroger (Fort Wayne, IN) in Jul 2021
Interview
The interview process was super smooth and easy, especially since the woman that interviewed me is really nice. She made you felt like you were having a conversation instead of an interview, which helped me calm my nerves down a lot. She asked the usual interview questions such as "Why do you want to work for Kroger?", "What are your strengths and weaknesses?" etc. Then she proceeded to ask me what position I would ideally like to work as and offers me a list of job roles. Right after the interview was done, she said they would love to hire me and I got the job right away. The whole thing probably lasted 25 minutes or so.

Interview
Laid back but it was also virtual at the time! Just wanted to know about me at first. Then followed up with quite a few behavioral questions. There were three people interviewing me.

A time you encountered a problem and how you resolved it.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Kroger in Mar 2017
Interview
Online application where you can only specify two jobs you’d be willing to apply for, which I found odd. Then a phone interview and then an in person interview with a drug test (swab) in store. This was quite a few years ago so I’m not sure how much has changed with COVID as far as the hiring process.
