I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kroger (Carrollton, GA) in Nov 2014
Interview
Submitted an application on a Friday got a call back on a Monday for an interview Wednesday. Went to interview Wednesday it was very chill despite me being very nervous. I met with the department manger and one of the store managers. They were really nice and made me feel relax. The store manager just asked two questions and told me that's all he has for me because he's an easy interviewer. Then the department manager asked me about my previous jobs and availability. After that they asked me to make sure my information was correct and that the position they are offering me is a dish washer in the deli. And then they offered to switch me to a deli clerk. Was asked to come back for drug test the next day and was offered the job pending the results. Started trying a week later.

Interview
Don't know. The HR person set up the interview at 7:30 Thursday night for the following afternoon. I showed up. She did not. Didn't call. Didn't email. Didn't show up. Had some random person "interview" me. He didn't know my name, or the job or anything. Just asked questions on a sheet of paper and wrote down some answers.

It was pretty short and quick. The HR there (Erin) was very understands and showed a lot of respect. It was more or less the people I worked with other than management that made me leave.
