I applied online. I interviewed at Kmart (Walnutport, PA) in Jun 2016
Interview
Honestly, there was no interview. I was asked when I could start working. Really, that was it. It was my first job, so I was kinda relieved. I really missed out on my first interviewing experience though.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Kmart in Jun 2017
Interview
Very easy process. Filled out an application online and was called the very next day to come in for an interview. The interview was very quick, it starts off with questions about you and what you like to do. I had a short conversation about my hobbies and then we started the behavioral questions. The behavioral questions were easy, I didn't prepare for them but I definitely recommend you do. Afterward, I was given a tour of the facilities with the other interviewees and we then were called one by one into the HR office to sign our conditional job offer. Afterward, we got 48 hours to go take a drug test and sign some online paperwork to release the results to them. Now, I'm just waiting to hear back on a date I can start orientation.
I applied online. I interviewed at Kmart (Riverside, CA) in Jun 2013
Interview
The interview was short and seemed unorganized, they weren't prepared to have a professional interview take place. It was a one-on-one with the hiring manager and she seemed not to be concerned with potential, but rather someone who wouldn't threaten her position.
