I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kmart (Greenwood, SC) in Jul 2011
Interview
The interview was brief. I only spoke to the human resources manager and she hired me on the spot. Did not conduct a drug test but did complete a background check. It was a pretty easy interview honestly.

Question 1
What relevant experience do you have with customer service?
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Kmart (New York, NY) in Dec 2014
Interview
Very basic questions read off a sheet of paper and filled in as you answer. HR seemed a little bored of asking the same questions and the Company was not interested in work history and past experiences. Just what you bring to the table and your availability to them as it was holiday hiring.

Question 1
In what way did you resolve an issue between a customer and your employer?
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kmart (Dayton, OH) in Oct 2015
Interview
The management is some of the most laid back, yet professional I've come across in 15 years of retail experience. The manager was relatable and open; informative and knowledgeable. It was a nice change from most other stores I've worked for--like Family Dollar and Kroger's family of companies. Also, though Wal-Mart pays better, K-Mart offers generally better perks and is a much less stressful job environment.

Etc.
