I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kmart (Florissant, MO) in Mar 2014
Interview
Apply, contact hiring manager a day after, try to set up an appointment and have an relatively easy interview. If you get hired, then you'll have to spend the next 2-3 days doing a HAND full of annoying simulations that have nothing to do with overnight stocking. They'll have you working 3 or 4 of the 7 nights and have you work 11-6am.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Not really one, just be yourself and be honest.. they do check, and they require background and drug tests.
If you dont do any serious drugs and have a clean record you should be fine.
Interview didn’t really have any questions. HR basically described the job and pay. The whole process was pretty quick and I was offered job on the spot. They mostly want to know why overnight hours work best for you.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kmart in Aug 2018
Interview
There was two people, in a small room. They asked simple questions about previous experience, work ethic. Pretty easy If you want an easy way to make some cash, applying for kmart wouldn't be a bad idea, seems pretty easy to get in.
