Kmart Cashier interview questions

I applied for the job online after completing a long assessment. After the initial application process I was asked to set up an interview for about three weeks later. I went to the interview dressed professionally. This interview seemed pointless since all they asked me about was my availability and previous work experience. All of which could be found on my job application. After that she told me that they would contact me if they wanted to follow through with me. The next day I was email by them and they told me to come in for a second interview about a week later. I waited about thirty minutes before I was interviewed. The interviewer basically only asked me two questions. 'Tell Me about yourself', 'What do you wish to gain from working at Kmart'. And then he went on to describe the job to me. The interview was fairly easy. After that I was basically hired and asked to come in the following day for paperwork.
