Their hiring process is a total mess. Be prepared for it. Do some mindfulness exercises, long walks, yoga whatever. Even if you get an offer in the end like I did, the process will be taxing to say the least. Technical interviews are it seems totally up to the interviewer. For example you get some description in advance to prep for the System Design interview, it turns out hands-on coding. The recruiters are harder to reach than most celebrities. My recruiter was de-facto not replying any of my emails. Contacting me to schedule next steps but ignoring all my questions. Even when I got offers from elsewhere and sent multiple emails to ask speed things up. No reply. Nada. 10 days later "Congratulations you passed to the next stage wohoo"

Question 1
Some hands-on coding, E2E system design, "tell me about a time when you executed Klarnas amazing leadership principles as a boss"
it consisted of 3 parts, HR, technical, behavioural. The technical part was a leetcode hard problem but they did not expect a hard solution. The behavioural was related to leadership principles similar to most companies.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Klarna (París) in Oct 2025
Interview
I had a second experience with Klarna. After the ghosting of last year, Klarna reach out again for a SWE position. The same happened. After the first discussion, I have been told again to book a slot for the second round. And then... no news from anyone.
Second ghosting. Klarna has a terrible HR process and policy.
I feel like I dodge a bullet here. The work environment might be pretty toxic if it is aligned with the HR practices.
