I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Klarna (Estocolmo, ) in Apr 2022
Interview
I applied through a referral link. Got into initial interview with a recruiter. Qurstions were standard - to takl about yourself and experience, how you got into ux research. They were fast in communication. They provided feedback after the interview pretty fast too
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Klarna (Estocolmo, ) in Feb 2021
Interview
Very straightforward process, just like it is described in their career website. First step is the logical reasoning test where you have to track patterns across a sequence of shapes. Don’t get overwhelmed by this, just study and get yourself used to the test.
After that the recruiter scheduled a 30 minute call, we discussed about my background and reasons to join Klarna.
The next step was an interview with the hiring manager to assess my skills. It was also a 30 minutes talk and very straight to the point, no getting to know each other. If you reach this point, be prepared to give answer about your process, providing grounded examples from your previous work experience.
Unfortunately for me, I could tell by the end of interview that I did not went well. After one week, I emailed then to get feedback and they called me and really explained the reasons why they decided not to move forward with my application. I was impressed by their candid responses and attention given to the candidate.
Overall process moved quickly with very clear instructions to follow.

Question 1
What would you tell someone if they came to you and said that they wanted a bigger sample size for interviews or usability test?
Imagine the product manager and designer come to you with 6 prototypes to run usability tests and you’d have 3 weeks to test it, how would you approach this situation.
