I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Klarna in Feb 2016
Interview
Technical interview had no particular technical questions, we were talking about mostly about my current job/projects without getting much into the details. I was expecting some questions touching areas where Klarna needs developers to have some experience in. It looked like developers were asking the same as for some number of previous candidates without showing any particular interest in what I was describing and more than once I repeated the same details once again because they were asking about things which I have already talked about.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Klarna in Jan 2016
Interview
I applied online through their careers site. I got a message from a recruiter about a week later asking me to take an online logical thinking test, that consisted basically of: given three patterns, what would be the fourth one.
Over the course of the following days, I got three interviews on Skype with different engineers from Klarna. The interviewing process was actually quite smooth and the people involved were really nice and considerate.
Though I got no offer, their treatment and the process itself were really good.

Interview
First interview was on-site with 2 software engineers, was given 2 technical problems to solve on a whiteboard. Then I was given a problem to solve at home. After I submitted my solution I had a video-conference with 2 different engineers, explaining my solution for the exercise. Then I was invited on-site again for another technical interview, and had to refactor the code I wrote at home and to implement a new requirement. Next interview was a regular HR session, and the final interview was with the manager.
