KPMG Auditing Associate interview questions

Walk in interview process. First there was an aptitude test of 30 questions. Accounting basics and some analytical questions. Followed by 3 to 4 rounds with managers, head of that department and HR. Later they said I was highly qualified for this role and they would move me to advisory. Yet to hear from them. Do not completely understand why they go ahead of the multiple rounds ahead of profile screening. Not sure if overqualified is just an excuse or they genuinely feel so.

I applied through my University Career Service. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed with a manager. He seems to be cool, and it was a pretty pleasant experience. The interview was fairly easy.
