I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at KPMG (Montreal, QC) in Oct 2014
Interview
KPMG conducts are pretty standard behavioural and experienced based interviews. They bring you in and talk about your past work experiences, volunteer involvements and student leadership positions. They'll also run you through the gamut of standard interview questions e.g. Why us? Why you? Biggest strengths / weaknesses. To do well, make sure you know your experiences well and can tell an interesting story about each that positively highlights some character traits. For university students at least, there is no skill-based interview.

Interview
Very fast! I got an internal reference. First part was with the audit manager and then two staffs took me out for lunch for the second part. The third part was with a partner and finally, the fourth was with another partner. It was a long interview but mainly asked about resume and why public accounting. More like a conversation
