I was contacted by a headhunter regarding the above position, which is based in their Budapest office. However, the role turned out to be quite different from the description initially provided. During the interview, the Hiring Manager mentioned that although the official policy requires only one day per week in the office, they would prefer if I were present more frequently. Eventually, they decided not to proceed, citing that I was "too junior" for the actual responsibilities of the role — despite the fact that they were the one who reached out to me, and the salary range they offered aligned with a junior-level position.
