Johnson Matthey Senior Process Engineer interview questions

Interview process was great. Interviewers (both from technical teams) were very easy-going and friendly. Thoroughly, enjoyable experience. However, issues started to develop when HR offered me the position, which I eventually declined after weeks of negotiation. The offered salary was way below my current salary in a competitor for the same role, with no room whatsoever for securing a better offer. I felt that HR purely ran through a set of internal HR-driven metrics, whereby putting forward a slightly better offer was not on their plate at any moment of the process. HR could have easily stated from the very first moment (before interview!) their maximum budget.
