Interview
Initially you have to do an online questionnaire of multiple choice scenarios. If you pass this process then you are invited to a group assessment, which takes about 2-2 1/2 hours. It was quite nerving as never been to a group interview so wasn’t sure what to expect. You start by getting into groups and then introducing yourself to the rest of the group.
Then it’s group task which you the have to produce to the whole group at the end.
Afterwards you are asked for one to one interviews.

Question 1
Name a time when you have had to show somebody how something works
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at John Lewis & Partners (Londres, Inglaterra) in Mar 2018
Interview
I applied online and received a reply a couple of weeks later inviting me in for a 1:1 interview and asking me to prepare a 15 minute presentation/project. I found it surprising I'd been asked to complete a task at the first stage, as I hadn't even had a phone screening. I put a lot of time and effort into the presentation, felt I performed well in the interview and my interviewer was really friendly, so I left feeling really positive. I then had to wait over a week for a response, only to find out from an automated email on a Friday evening that I had not been successful. I was highly unimpressed that after taking so much time to attend the interview and prepare a lengthy presentation, that they could not offer me any form of feedback or at least a personally addressed email. I little courtesy wouldn't go a miss.

Interview
Hi, I had my interview there at the Stratford store two weeks ago and it really was quite chilled. Everyone was wearing quite formal dress, sixth form/ college type attire so I would definitely advise against wearing jeans. It was my first ever interview too but it was surprisingly relaxed. Before your interview you’ll be in a waiting room with other canditates for a good 20 minutes and it was clear that you were being watched. Make sure you interact with others and don’t go on your phone etc as this will come off really bad. In particular, don’t seem too shy or nervous as it was clear that other candidates didn’t really take much input from these characters during later tasks. The interview itself is calm, we were given a scenario and then simply discussed as a group how and in what order we would deal with incidents/tasks. Make sure you don’t come off too bossy, as assessors were visibly annoyed at this. For documentation, all I brought was passport copy and NI Number, this was fine (no birth certificate). Good luck!
