I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at JetBlue (Orlando, FL) in Jun 2016
Interview
I started the application on 5/5/2016, same day I received this email Jet Blue Airways Application: Next Steps in this email they tell you to take an assessment. Then 5 days later I received this email Jet Blue invites you to take a virtual interview. This is a phone interview with 4 or 5 questions is Not timed and you will have the chance to see the questions and write the answers in a paper and then answer the questions through an operator and save them o delete the answer depending if you like how you sound. Be VERY specific in your answers with an exact time when the situation happened and use the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) model to answer the questions that is exactly what they are looking for, they even tell you that in the instructions before you start the phone interview. As soon as you finish you will receive this email: Your responses have been saved for Reservations Crew.
A MONTH after that they send me this email: Jet Blue Reservations Crew Trainee PT - Next Steps giving me the options to select the day and time for my face to face interview. So my interview was on June 27th and I was chosen to move forward with the process which is a Drug test and a Background Check which can take a whole month to be done, I am in the 3rd week already waiting to be cleared to then receive the call with the Official Job offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Interview Questions: Only 3 EASY questions BUT be prepare to answer with the START model again. The more details you give and the more abroad you answer with the START model the BEST.
1.Tell about a time you had a customer asking for something you could not delivered.
2. Tell me about a time you had to offer a product to a client and the person had no idea about the product. ( I don't remember exactly the question but it was something like that)
3. What was the job you most liked it or not and why?
My recruiter was really nice!! And before the interview they first talk about the company, benefits and play a video of an employee working from home since this position is HOME based. Also they separate the applicants in groups of 4 people and interview everybody at once same question for all. You might be 1st one to answer the 1st question but then in the second question you might be the third in answering, they do it like that so that everybody has the chance to answer in different numbers instead of being the first one or third one in answering all questions. So the recruiter is picking who is answering the question in the first, second, third and fourth place and rotates everybody. Get the idea! I was an easy interview for me...
