Interview
Standard process at first. First a Karat interview with an external interviewer, then onsite with 4 rounds. During the onsite I told them that I hope to get the decision as soon as possible, better before the middle of Feb.
And then everything just turned to be a little messy and extremely slow.
One week after the onsite I was told that I'm having an interview with a director of engineering "before they make the final decision", and I took it. I thought I did well and I was expecting a decision from them. However after 2 days, I received an email from an HR telling me there is an another round with a VP "before making final decision". I wasn't really expecting this one, and I called the HR and told him that I will do it, but I hope them to give me a decision asap.
The VP call went ok. Then three days passed and they are just remaining silent. I sent email to HR asking about the update but received no reply. I thought they are just not hiring me and don't even want to send a rejection letter.
Undoubtedly this is very devastating, because I thought I got very far but they are just letting me down with extremely slow and unresponsive HRs.
The reason why I kept waiting was I thought every interviewer I talked to was professional and passionate about work, but the HRs were extremely unprofessional and seems don't really care about the candidates.
Please, Jet, if you really want to hire some people, get some better HRs. Do not just hire some random people who are even making grammar mistakes when sending the email. Please.

Interview
Applied online. Got an invitation to the coding challenge a month later. Then got an invitation to a technical phone interview. The interviewer is friendly and willing to give hints. I didn’t think I did great because I apparently screwed up some stuff. They still let me pass and send me an email to schedule the final round interview with a team manager. We talked about a lot of non-technical things. The conversation was pleasant. Got a call a few days later and accepted the offer. The whole process took me 4 months and I wish it could be faster.
