      Engineer Interview

      Aug 6, 2016
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Jet

      Interview

The interview process was good. A recruiter from Jet approached me and set up the interview schedule within couple of weeks. There was a phone interview followed by 4 round of on-site interview. The problem was, they never communicated whats the position they are going to fill? Without a definite job role, it was a guess work, whether they are looking for a manager or a tech lead or a senior engineer or what? This created lot of confussion in my mind. There is one thing I came to know from each of the interviwers that there are too much work, product management does not understand whats the real priorities are hence lot of confussion. I got a feeling that they have right engieers but not right priorities. At the end of the process they never came back to me with feedback. Feedback would have been appreciated from my side as I think I gave satisfying answer to each questions (none of them were too hard) but obviously there is something missing as I didnt get the offer.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Jet (Jersey City, NJ)

      Interview

Passed hr and tech phone interview and went 4 hours on site interview. Question is common but interviewer didn't focus on the interview. They checked phone frequently and looked sleepy. And then I don't hear anything from them. It looks that if they don't like, they don't care. And I am glad the silence feedback is their style. I see some other had the same experience.
