My hiring and interview process was very abrupt, yet efficient. It involved sitting in an office with two friendly members of upper management asking where I wanted to be in several years. Management assured me that they will help me get to that point and that the position of a project engineer would serve as a great entry-level position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The most difficult question is always going to be what your expected salary is. I low-balled by...well, $20,000...because I froze up on the spot.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Jacobs in Apr 2010
Interview
I got there 5 minutes earlier and waited for another 5 minutes because the previous interviewee took a little longer. The first question was "tell us a little bit about yourself". Because I am an international student, they also asked why I came to the US to study. Besides these, they just asked some generic questions. It had no structure at all.
