I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Jacobs (Houston, TX)
Interview
Desperate for people...if you are unemployed, uneducated, and unmotivated to move up the ladder, you are a great candidate for this department. Many people have been hired over the phone or even recruited with no interview at all. Once girl started on her first day and thought she was hired as a receptionist instead of a document controller. Lots of nepotism in this department.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Jacobs (Irvine, CA) in Apr 2013
Interview
I had two initial phone conversations followed by an interview with HR. I was then recommended for a second interview with the project manager. Great initial perception of the office structure and team.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
None, the questions were the general work history, experience and qualifications.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Jacobs (Denver, CO) in Jan 2012
Interview
1 on 1 interview with supervisor. Very basic and not professional.
Advice, don't ask too many questions, the supervisor won't be able to answer most of them and it will make him/her look stupid. Just my opinion/expreance.
