I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Jacobs in Jan 2016
Interview
Met with the manager. Had a pretty casual conversation about my resume and internship expectations. There were no technical or behavioral questions. The interview was very conversational. They got back to me about 3 weeks later with an offer which I accepted.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Jacobs (Boston, MA) in Apr 2016
Interview
The interview is very fast, and I sent them my resume from school's website. He asked me about my background first. And then, we talked through my resume, and he asked a few questions about my projects.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Jacobs (Manchester, Inglaterra) in May 2018
Interview
The two people who were interviewing were very friendly and put my nerves at ease. Although there were some structured 'official' interview questions , the interview was more of a discussion rather than question answer. This worked alot better as it allowed me to talk freely about what I liked and engineering in general. They also went through my cv and cover letter and we talked about its contents. They had read these before hand and asked about different parts of them.
The interview process was relaxed and friendly and I came out of it feeling good.
They emailed me after 3 weeks as promised in the interview and gave me feedback.
