The process took 1 day. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (Arlington, TX) in Sep 2010
Interview
The interview was very casual. While a very big company the office that this manager ran had a small business mindset. I have a former co-worker that is a top performer there who recommended me. The manager told me that he prefers to have personal recommendations from inside his office and tries to only interview these people. The recruiter from a centralized office reviewed my resume initially and did a brief phone interview. At the interview the hiring manager gave me a tour of the office and introduced me to much of the team. It was more of a conversation than an interview and the manager seemed very interested in getting to know me and cared about how I would fit in to the team and like the organization.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Tell me about your sub-prime credit buying experience
I interviewed with the VP, and the discussion centered on my credit analysis skills, how I evaluate risk, and how I communicate complex financial insights. It was a detailed, thoughtful conversation that highlighted both technical depth and professional judgment.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do the three financial statements link together
I interviewed at JPMorganChase (Londres, Inglaterra)
Interview
Had to do an entertaining online game which was followed by a HireVue assessment (3 questions where you have to record your answers). Eventually there was an AC Day (individual Case Study + Interviews) for the internship.
Fairly straightforward credit/finance related questions to verify basic competency and a moderate focus on making sure you have good soft skills and fit for the role/culture. Interviewers were pretty chill and people I could see myself getting along with.
