After I applied I was contacted by a recruiter for a phone interview. Soon after, I was scheduled for an interview with a branch manager. The questions were basic sales and experience with customer service. In addition, I was asked to greet a customer that walked in and get them to sit with one of the personal bankers. That was quite easy. Following the interview, the branch manager basically told me that I would soon be contacted to set up an interview with the district manager. That meeting did not go so well. Although I felt confident, there was something about this particular DM that I knew was wrong. He really didn't give me an opportunity to show my sales experience - he was constantly asking about negative aspects of my application. I don't speak Spanish (he was hispanic) and even though that was not a requirement for the position - he constantly reminded me of it. I did get a third interview but ultimately did not get the job. I guess I should have studied harder in Spanish class.
