After submitting the application, HR called me within a week and asked basic Qs like notice period and expected salary. Two weeks later, I was invited for a first round interview. This was with my hiring manager via Zoom. Usual questions like give me an example when you xxxxxx, Why JPMC, Why this role, what can you bring to the team. The interviewer asked me a logical question too, was unexpected but managed it. The next interview (which is straight after this one) was with another VP which similar questions were asked such as given me an example where you need to do presentation to senior stakeholders, how do you see yourself in 5 years etc.
Within the same day, final interview invite received with ED. Interview is more free style, starting with a logical question followed by some free style question like walk me through your experience, what skills set do you have etc. We had a very good chat and talked about the team's target and milestones and how I will be able to help them to drive this.
Shortly after this interview, I received an offer and HR called to discuss the benefit package.
All interviews took 30 minutes, I would have expected 45/60 mins interview hence had been speaking a little bit faster than what I normally do. My hiring manager gave me feedback straight on the call and the conversation was great.
Advice would be to get to know more about the role and apply something that you really like and enjoy to do so that you can build up the rapport and relationship with the hiring manager/team quickly as they are keen to know you as well. It would be good to have common knowledge and share your experience so that they will know you are the one!2
