I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan (Londres, Inglaterra)
Interview
On arrival to the interview the planned numeracy test was cancelled so instead a networking session with current first year Analysts was held. As a result we were given a chance to learn more about the bank and ask questions. I personally had a sneaking suspicion that we were being evaluated by the analysts in some way.
After that there was a 45 minute case study to familiarize ourselves with and some questions to answer, which we would then use to present the case (this involved some basic qualitative analysis and some basic arithmetic related to company valuations, then arguing your point based on the information you had). After this we were to individually present the case and our company pick to a senior banker ( from Associate to MD). After this we were given a quick break and then had the case study modified to a role play where 3 senior bankers would observe the 20 minute discussion.
This was followed by 2 interviews. Usually the first was a personality/fit interview, and a technical interview, but this varied by the person's background, some interviewees had 2 fit interviews with maybe 1 technical question.
After that the day concluded. I should note that the assessment center was very well organized in general. The only downside was the large amount of downtime since one groups would interview while the other rest. As a result, I got to know the other interviewees well so it didn't seem like such a big deal.
