It started a bit rough, as I had an employee referral from someone else in the ADP, and had applied but not heard anything for weeks. To be exact, it was six weeks since I reached out to a recruiter and nearly three weeks since I had applied before I got any contact. However, the contact went directly to scheduling an onsite interview, skipping multiple steps of what I had understood to be the "normal" hiring process. Nonetheless, a talent acquisition specialist scheduled the onsite. The onsite interview consisted of a 15 min intro, an hour paper assessment that tests relevant skills (business algebra, basic stats, presentation design/data visualization, data interpretation, and attention to detail while proofing), three 1:1 interviews (normally with different service line managers), and then a peer networking (casual; you ask them questions) session with two existing market research analysts. All my interviewers seemed appropriately removed from the process. They were hype-aware that they had to ask scripted questions to achieve consistency/fairness, but you could tell they wanted to see who you were as a person, and in turn they were carrying themselves as genuine people, too. I received contact within two days about the likelihood of extending an offer. The person needed for final approval of analyst hires is out of the office for a little while yet, so I do not know with 100% certainty, but I will take the positive route and assume I got one. I certainly hope so since I walked out of Ipsos feeling like I already worked there.
