It is a 2-step interview process. The 1st portion of the interview is the standard 'phone' interview where the recruiter briefly describes expectations of the job role, ask standard questions of your previous history and determine whether you qualify for the 2nd round of interviewing. This is where things get tricky. The 1st interview is very easy and relaxed. The 2nd portion is through HireVue (virtual only) where you answer a series of camera-on pre-recorded video questions. (You do not talk to a real person, you play the video they've recorded and see yourself on camera, answering back). VERY difficult if you aren't used to this format. After the video recorded questions, it asks a lot of tax scenario-based, questions referring to forms commonly used during tax season. These are split between answering multiple choice and a portion where you briefly type out the answer in sentence form. Also difficult if you do not have certain things memorized about tax. The minute & a half allowed to research and answer the question isn't a good timeframeif you aren't well versed in multiple forms and situations.
