I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Intuit in Jan 2024
Interview
The interview process involves a telephonic screening which is a Zoom call where a fellow staff Engineer or a principal engineer asks questions on design and architecture
I was asked questions related to scalability, idempotency, security, sharding etc.
The interviewer was quite sweet and very professional. The questions were pertinent too. I thought the interview went relatively okay.
But the sad part is the technical recruitment team's promptness in updating the status. The interviewer might have felt that I didn't meet the expectations - which is totally valid. But as a candidate, I'd like to know the feedback. Positive or negative. But I sent them 6 mails and called them 5 times regarding the update but never got any.
I should have taken the hint from the first call to the recruitment team when they showed utter disinterest in keeping the candidate updated. The recruitment team is quite dismal and needs improvement
I never heard from them. I have stopped following up now. But I hope the recruitment team is reading this and gets better.
