I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Intuit
Interview
The hiring process was quick and each one of the interviewers made the interview feel like a conversation more than an examination. All the three interviews were over the phone. The whole process was less than a week and the decision was conveyed without much delay. The onboarding process was exceptional.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Intuit (Mountain View, CA) in Jan 2008
Interview
two rounds of in person internview, first round was very technical and detailed, but relatively easy. the second round was very informal, more of a getting to know you opportunity. offer came after two weeks. the offer was very reasonable so didn't attempt to negotiate. Found out later that there was very wide brackets of compensation packages for each job, thus it may well be negotiable unless you're at the very top end of the bracket.

Question 1
don't remember one, it's been a while, the interview's mostly behavior-based so nothing really stood out
