Question 1
Tell us about a product that you like, which feature is missing and why.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Intuit (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2024
Interview
Technical interview - consisted of a code problem to solve. The interview indicated that it was okay to look up something (e.g. API syntax) if I needed to, which I did, but then that was listed as a negative in the feedback I received.

Question 1
Write a function to retrieve a list of cities based on country using two REST services - one that gives all states for a country and one that gives all cities for a state.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Intuit in Nov 2024
Interview
1. I received a message from a recruiter on LinkedIn.
2. We had a standard HR call where they introduced the company and asked me to share a bit about myself.
3. Next, I had a Zoom meeting with one of the team developers. We had a typical conversation, after which I was asked to implement an algorithm for finding the shortest root-to-leaf path in a binary tree.
Since I hadn’t worked with tree algorithms in a long time, I struggled a bit but ultimately solved the problem with some guidance from the interviewer. However, I received a negative response afterward, which I find disappointing. I believe that, even though the interview didn’t go perfectly, it doesn’t necessarily reflect my full potential.
