The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Intuit (Mountain View, CA) in Feb 2012
Interview
Very long interview process.
Scheduled to see 6 people over about 6 hours.
One person did not show up for their scheduled interview slot, so I spent 2 hours with the same person - awkward - staring at each other in nervous semi-silence, friendly chit chat for 2 hours.
Last interviewer expressed her belief that she would not have a job in 6 months. Was that a trick question? I don't know, but made for a strange experience. She seemed very unhappy in her position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me a story about a time you presented an idea and it had a negative outcome.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Intuit in Jan 2012
Interview
Contacted by internal recruiters and interviewed for 2 positions, both phone. In the end it was not a good fit but the process was fairly smooth. Their recruiting team is very good and very responsive, and would give you feedback right away if you follow up.
Interview consists of intial screening by recruiters which are basic interview questions (why you are looking, what are you looking for, tell me more about what you do, etc.). If you go on to the next step interview questions depends on the hiring manager and position you are applying for - but in general, they seem to have a heavy focus on user needs/experience and "why Intuit" for you.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
What area do you want to learn more in product management.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Intuit in Apr 2011
Interview
The interview was one hour with two managers of the QA Development Team. Very straight forward. Learned alot about the position. Able to ask questions to see if I would be a good fit. Smooth process
