I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Intuit
Interview
the interview was mostly conversational versus the typical ask/tell style. i was asked quite about about my team leadership skills and at the end, i was asked the question "how do you describe strategy?"
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
i was asked to explain the strategy i'd take to fix a customer acquisition problem. i wasn't told what the problem was and i wasn't told what type of strategy she was looking for (long term, short term, detailed w/ customer insights data, expansion of marketing channels, etc...). when i asked for qualification, i got a vague answer so i did my best to relate my answer to a past situation where i fixed a customer acquisition problem using a multi-channel / customer retention strategy.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Intuit (Mountain View, CA) in May 2008
Interview
My initial interview was with the recruiter. They were friendly and knowledgeable about the role. I was a little concerned that they would rule out my candidacy as I would be a remote employee. All of my interviews were over the phone. The interview to offer process took less than a week.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They use a methodology for interviewing and it was hard to change my answers from what I did would do in a situation vs what I did do in a specific situation. Not a bad method.
