I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Intuit (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2022
Interview
It was thorough, but not grueling. Spoke with hiring managers as well as team members, which was a nice mix. The time expectations given were spot on which was very appreciated.
I applied online. I interviewed at Intuit in May 2024
Interview
The interview process is long, tedious, and involves multiple rounds, including a painfully subjective craft presentation, which may lead to the elimination of qualified candidates based on subjective criteria. It's probably not worth it unless they like you, you know someone, or you're a strong shoe-in. Otherwise, a cattle call with their ongoing ads.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interviews lacked relevance to the role, with no particularly relevant behavioral questions or applicable discussions. Mainly consisted of a presentation and loose Q&A sessions.
Two interviews:
First, is 1-hour technical interview on zoom
Second is a 4-hour session on-site, including doing a presentation you prepare before the interview, and a technical project you also implement before. The session includes discussions about you, your past experience, the project you implemented, a few technical questions, and behavior interview.
