I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Intuit (Bengaluru)
Interview
Overall process was fast and the interviewers were super helpful, friendly and considerate. During the first round, I was given a problem statement to solve on the spot and then presented in front of the panel. The problem was simple but a lot of edge cases to cover. It lasted around 1 hour and then I went for another round, where I was asked SQL and coding questions. And finally, I had the hiring manager round

Provided a classification PS to solve on-site in an hour and to present in the subsequent rounds for QnA
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Intuit (Bengaluru) in Feb 2023
Interview
After CV screening, we were briefed by the HR about the job requirement - it was initially for Data scientist internship, with a possible chance at a full-time offer. It was meant to be a 2-round process, second being HR round. The technical round had 3-4 main questions and lasted for 60-75 minutes. All of the candidates who appeared that day were rejected after first round, with HR team walking away with a level of indifference rivalling only the level of enthusiasm they showed before.

Question 1
3 main questions: 1. write an algorithm to generate the probability of obtaining a random number based on a prior discrete distribution. Was asked all the relevant probability theory questions where applicable. asked to solve with and without using numpy library functions. 2. pick any ML algo of my choice and explain it at depth - decision trees in my case - how I have deployed it in a project before - covered all the conceptual details. 3. write SQL queries to offer discounts to customers that may not retain a premium subscription service - how would you determine who will/will not be a recurring customer?
very bad experience. She was very unfriendly and she asked me to change the join code because she said “some id(primary key) can be null “ I was totally shocked. Finally, she said I am not good in the technical.

Question 1
Recruiter said hm interview and someone else interviewed me and gave me tech interview. She was very rude and unfriendly in the process ( looks angry and very late response to my question). Once it is done, she asked who contacted you? Recruiter? You are not good in the tech….The interviewer said primary key can be null and told me not good at tech.. I told her that I was referred by someone and then she immediately changed her face and attitude….funny experience.
