Intertek interview questions

Three step interview process with the third step in two parts. First part by HR and 2nd part by hiring manager. HR requested I tediously fill out a job history despite my having resume on hand. They take this seriously unfortunately and have the power to keep the interview from reaching the hiring manager so best to accommodate any challenges they bring to the process. They of course requested salary history which I politely did not give them. From first interview to hire can take a while so patience is important.

I was initially contacted by an HR recruiter and interviewed with the operations manager. I felt the interview went very well and was very promising. It seems like a great company to work for. Unfortunately I was sent a dear john email about a two weeks later to let me know that I did not get the position.
