I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at International House (Quito) in Feb 2017
Interview
The company offers a salary depending on experience and Celta grade, this is quite a big range and could also vary depending on references given. You have to work for one month before being offered a visa, so depending on your suitability you could find yourself jobless after technically working illegally for a month. Furthermore, contracts offered are for two years with an absolute minimum of one year. If this is not respected it will be reflected on any reference given.
A few days after applying for the role, I received an email to agree on a time for an interview. In the interview, I explained my qualifications and past work experience. The interviewer described the role and responsibilities in more detail.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at International House
Interview
Interview was not skills-based, but rather hypothetical situations about what you would do in certain situations. I didn't feel the interviewer was interested in what I could accomplish for them.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at International House (Bristol, Inglaterra) in Mar 2021
Interview
The interviewer belittled me and made me feel very small. It was a humiliating experience. Unnecessarily rude and pompous. I could imagine that working with such a person would be very difficult indeed.
