I applied online via the RSA website. Two weeks later I had a brief interview with an internal RSA recruiter.
Shortly after that, a telephone interview was arranged with the hiring manager. This was a fairly straightforward interview where basic questions about project management were asked.
After the telephone interview, I was then invited to an onsite interview with the hiring manager. During this interview, I was given a scenario to consider and I was asked to say how I would respond to it.
I was told that I would be given the result of the interview within a couple of weeks.
After the interview, I wrote back to the internal recruiter, thanked everyone for their time and confirmed that I was very interested in the role.
I then heard absolutely nothing at all. Nobody bothered to tell me that my application was not successful.
Although everyone involved in the interview process was pleasant enough, it really is unacceptable for a candidate to get to a third stage interview and then not be given the result of their application.
