I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Insight Global (Dallas, TX) in Apr 2015
Interview
The environment bright, I walked in the front desk lady was extremely friendly. Very structured, open to answer question, and very professional. Recruiter was very energetic, helpful, detailed, and pretty upfront about what he wanted from a future employee. They do not hammer you, just looking for a work and goal driven person. Also they are very flexible with your start date.

Interview
Applied to a job listing through my university's career center and was contacted the next business day by a recruiter. Had a brief phone screening with him and then was invited to do an in-person interview. Both the phone call and interview were casual in nature - spent a lot of time chatting and not much related to the job itself. I met with two people during the interview, the sales manager as well as an account executive over the course of a little more than an hour. They told me I would be contacted by the recruiter with a decision soon - which came in the form of an email a few days later.

Question 1
Why do you want to work in sales? How do you feel about cold-calling? What is your biggest strength / weakness?

Interview
I got to the office and had to pick up the front desk phone to tell them I have arrived. I waited in a room for about 20 minutes until the account manager came in to talk to me. The interview was very conversational. She didn't really ask any specifics about me. One thing that made me believe my interview didn't go so well was because I didn't seem as engaged in the effort to create a conversation about their personal lives. She left and a second girl came in to talk to me. They didn't take my resume or really look at it.
