Overall the entire process felt a bit unprofessional. I was asked how often I like to go out, if I have had any crazy spring breaks, and what bars I like to go to. I was never asked any serious interview questions or situational questions. It was all mostly small talk. It seemed more like they were looking for someone to go out on the weekends with instead of someone who was actually qualified for the job. It's too bad because the job really did seem like it could be a good opportunity for a student fresh out of college.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Insight Global (Washington, DC) in Dec 2012
Interview
I was asked to come in for an interview last December after speaking with a recruiter that was a family friend. It was an interesting interview process- mostly behavioral. Met very nice people, and the job seems pretty interesting. The only down side was that the amount of time it takes to get promoted from recruiter (actual job being interviewed for) up to account manager was not very clear, and neither was the description of the pay.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Insight Global (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2013
Interview
I was contacted and held an interview that was behavioral at my university. I was asked for a second round out of only a few out of numerous people. The office visit consisted of a series of behavioral interviews one following the other, all roughly 20 minutes in length each.
