I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Insight Global (Stamford, CT) in Aug 2015
Interview
Consists of a few phone interviews (screenings) before you are selected for a face-to-face interview. When you walk in, you immediately feel judged and unaccepted. You are asked to wear professional dress, head to toe, yet none of the employees that I interviewed with were dressed professionally (business casual AT BEST). Overall poor interview experience.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Insight Global in May 2015
Interview
I was initially contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn about the job opportunity. I had a phone interview with her, where she asked me very general, standard questions about myself. I then had my first in-person interview about a week later where I met first with a Sales Manager and then with an Account Manager. We discussed my background and resume, and I got a better understanding of the actual position and what a typical day for me would be like. I had my second interview about week later with two Sales Managers. We went to lunch, and I was asked more about my interest in sales and the particular position. They also went over company benefits and my starting salary. More than anything, though, the second interview's purpose was for the sales managers to see if I was outgoing and social enough to lead and carry on a conversation and if my personality was the right fit for this position. I was contacted by the recruiter a few days later with an offer.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Insight Global
Interview
I got a phone call from a recruiter while I was in class. I called him back when I got home, chatted with him for a while and then had an interview set up in the office. The interview at the office was a pleasant experience, and you get to meet multiple employees.
