The first few rounds of interviews were conducted online, then they require you to fly out for the final round and do not cover travel expenses or hotel accommodations. Other companies I interviewed for in the same industry paid for everything, which already put a bad taste in my mouth. I flew out to one city and thought the interview went great, but I was denied for not being "excited" enough about the position. I then moved forward with another office, who simply said they moved forward with someone else. Keep in mind, I am an extremely qualified candidate with a 4.2 GPA, and tons of experience, and my recruiter told me there was "no way" I wouldn't get the job. Even she was shocked to hear not one but two offices turned me down (she said I was one of the "strongest candidates" she'd ever had), so she tried to get me to go for a third. I obviously declined. The recruiters just feed you BS to try and get you to interview as many places as you can so that they can make money off a hire. Absolute waste of time and a waste of thousands of dollars traveling for a company that simply hires based on looks and "frat boy/sorority girl" personality. (I am in Greek life but apparently, my personality wasn't what they were looking for?). I have three friends who work at IG in various cities and all three of them literally have to work other jobs (serving, uber driving) to be able to afford the various cities they live in because the pay is so low. They tell me that they stay with it because they keep being told by their manager that they will make "big money" after working there for 3+ years, but in my opinion, it is a total scam. I luckily landed a job with a much more reputable company that is paying me double what IG would have been paying me--so I dodged a bullet. Just posting this so other college students don't get roped into this scheme. Save your money and hours traveling, and look for other entry-level positions. You are worth so much more than the way this company treats people.
