Interview
Long process that took nearly 2 months in total until I was ghosted. My experience with Insight Global started off smoothly with good communication from the recruiter. After a successful initial assessment interview, I was asked to complete a HackerRank challenge, followed by a client interview that included a live coding session. Unfortunately, the client passed on me, but the recruiter stayed in contact and offered another role.
For the second opportunity, I was asked to complete another live coding interview, followed by technical questions. After the interview, I reached out to the recruiter for updates, but I was left on read and received no further communication. Being ghosted after multiple interviews felt unprofessional and disrespectful of my time.
Additionally, I found that the company offers salaries well below market rates for the work involved. Another issue was the cold calls they made, which often came at inconvenient times, making it difficult to respond.
Overall, the lack of communication, low compensation, and disregard for candidate time left me frustrated. I would advise caution to anyone considering working with them.

Interview
I've interviewed with hiring teams from two different companies for contract roles via Insight Global. In both cases I never heard from the recruiter afterwards. For the second company, I had even phoned the account manager directly after my interview with the hiring team as he had requested that. For the first company, after I had interviewed with the two hiring managers I received the same initial LinkedIn message from the Insight Global recruiter asking if I would be interested in the role. I genuinely thought that she had made a mistake and I responded to her message asking if she had sent it by mistake and then reminding her that I had just interviewed with the hiring team that day and that the hiring manager had mentioned that he would be speaking with her directly after our call. I also asked if she had spoken with him since my interview. I never received a response from her.
I'm posting this review as a warning to others NOT to expect a response from recruiters after your interview with the hiring company if it turns out that the hiring company does not want to proceed with your candidacy. But that said, I will continue to respond to recruiters from Insight Global because at least I have been able to get interviews with their clients AND it seems that they are exclusively engaged by some clients for contract roles (meaning that for the two roles I interviewed for, I did not see other staffing agencies advertising the same roles).
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Insight Global (Dallas, TX) in Nov 2024
Interview
It was a nearly hour-long interview during which they really assessed character. They asked a lot of questions concerning grit, commitment to the company long-term, and interest in sales. It's very social. They ask a lot of small talk questions. Nothing particularly unusual except they emphasize how difficult the job is, which is good transparency, but it is an interesting choice for a second-round interview. There are three rounds: a preliminary phone call, an online interview, and an in-person interview. The pay is not equivalent to the apparent work load.
