I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Insight Global
Interview
I was contacted by two Professional Recruiters from Insight Global, My conversation with both parties after describing the position and process concluded with the perfunctory promise “if you have any questions or need anything don’t hesitate to contact me”.
What ensued was the most gratuitous waste of my precious time. Over the period of a month I had numerous (5) interviews scheduled with their client, only to be canceled last minute. With each rescheduled interview I had to take time away from my temporary employment, sans pay, reorganize family time and prepare before video call. The last three canceled interviews I was on the bridge waiting and wondering where the same party from client was, and why late. Finally realizing they were not attending after noticing an email in my inbox. The consideration I was given from recruiter was an email, not a phone call, sent between an hour or minutes before the interview – not enough to avoid my investment of time and scheduling.
Finally I was sent a one line email tacitly resembling a diluted apology that the client was terminating the process. I accept in hindsight that I should not have been as easily fooled, however, one does not expect this level of manipulation from what appears to be a processional company. My experience was bereft of any humanity and sense decency from a team that expects no recourse or scrutiny from their actions. After contacting both recruiters about this experience I learned neither have the sense of duty to respond ghosting me. This a poor example set by Insight Global.
Straight forward, recruiter walked me through all the steps. I honestly should’ve prepared a little bit better. Was way too early in the morning for me personally, but they all seemed nice and ambitious
