I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Insight Global (Baltimore, MD) in Oct 2017
Interview
I interviewed in the Baltimore office earlier this fall. My Corporate Recruiter, Casey Holt, was very responsive at first. However, after I finished my in-person interview, she disappeared. I took the initiative to follow-up with her afterwards and she chose to not return any of my calls and/or emails. I can’t stress how unprofessional this is, as she had already set the expectation that I would be speaking with her directly after. It was not until weeks later, when I gave it one last shot, that she answered my call. Her tone indicated that I was bothering her, and that she was annoyed I was calling. Not an hour later, I received a generic rejection email. While Insight Global may have already decided that they were not interested in me as a candidate after my interview, it is standard recruiting practice to let a candidate know the outcome of the interview (good or bad), if not common courtesy. For a company that prides themselves on professionalism this is incredibly disappointing.
While what has been done cannot be changed, I’d like to think that by putting this information out there, this lack of action can be prevented in the future. I am hopeful that this review will at least give way to some coaching for Insight Global employees, as they are clearly deficient in areas where they claim expertise.
I was messaged by a recruiter on linkedin and had a phone call with her, and then was set up with a first round interview with one of the sales managers for the office I applied for. In this interview I found the questions asked to be very strangely worded for it to be a sales job.
The interview process was long, it consisted of a lot of phone calls with the recruiter prepping you for the interviews. The in person interview felt very calculated and fake. Although I’m sure the managers meant well you could tell they were very judgmental. I’ve also heard awful things about this company so I think it was a blessing. Good luck though!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Insight Global (Austin, TX) in May 2025
Interview
Began with a 15 minute warmer call with a recruiter to then schedule a 45 minute call with the recruiter, then either an in-person or online interview with hiring manager, and then last interview with manager.
