Interview
I reached out to a recruiter prior to my schools career fair because I knew I was interesed in the job. After meeting the recruiter in person at the career fair I was invited to do an on campus interview. This interview was only 20 minutes and was more her telling me about the position and me telling her a little bit about myself. Very comfortable and casual. At the end of this interview I was asked to set up an interview in the office of my choice. A few weeks later I went to their office and had my second round interview. I spoke with 3-4 account managers for about 15 minutes each. Again, the conversation was very casual...they wanted to know about me, what I like to do, etc. Not too many hard hitting interview questions and I definitely felt like making a good impression and being personable/able to hold a conversation was the most important aspect. Again, I was asked at the completion of that interview to set up a time for the final round interview. About three weeks later I came back to the office and had my final lunch interivew. I went to lunch with two of the managers in my office and was taken back to the office to meet a few more people and look around. It really felt like I was out to lunch and hanging out with a group of girls, which was nice in the fact that I was able to be myself. Then things got more serious. At this point I was asked more hard hitting interview questions related to sales and I acutally felt a little unsure about my chances. It seemed like they were really testing if I'd be able to handle the rejection and uncertianty of sales. My final interview lasted about two and a half hours. A few days later I recieved a call and was offered a position!
