Ingles Markets interview questions

The overall interview process was fairly easy, considering I have worked for Ingles before and already know how the system works, and how the store layout is and such. Had no problem.

He asked if I had plans for college, if I played football, and what I was doing with my life or wanted to do. He then asked me to come back a week later and It took 2 months before he hired me. I'm thinking it's because he had to wait for an opportunity to happen before he could do so.
