I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Infosys (Chennai) in Jan 2011
Interview
I was placed for this job on-campus at my college. We had an initial math and verbal written round to test our analytical and verbal skills. People who were shortlisted for the interview were called in batches and there was a one-to-one interview that was being held. I was very tensed when I entered the room, but the HR people were very soothing. The interview was non-technical and there were questions just to determine the reaction to stress, I believe. There were not any eliminations mostly post the written round.

Question 1
Aptitude and English test was of good difficulty level, but it was for all. Just cut down the chances of negative marks and it will be OK.
Being a non-IT background scholar, I was asked some general questions in interview. Focus on your communication skills and it will be OK.
