the HR called and I answered the basic questions which included salary expectations. Had a tech discussion and a managerial round, both of them went well. but before the HR round, they rejected me saying the budget is lesser than your expectation. By the way, the salary they were offering was even less than my current pay. Very disappointed. The HR did such a bad job. Such a waste of time.
