It was really a good exp in interview. Hr was good manager is also superb team lead is knowledgable. Had a great time at the interview. Really a wonder full experience
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Informatica (Toronto, ON) in Aug 2021
Interview
- The recruiter reached out to me and asked a couple of questions related to my work experience. They had the requirement of React but were open for Angular candidates.
- 2nd round was a take-home assignment to develop a small app using sample JSON data to be rendered in the UI. I asked the recruiter again if they'll consider Angular instead of React and the recruiter asked the Hiring manager and replied back saying that he's open to it.
So I went ahead and developed the assignment in Angular and after submission, the recruiter replied back saying we have passed it on to other candidates. There was no feedback whatsoever. I requested the recruiter for feedback but then I guess they know how to ghost the candidate.
It was really unprofessional of them to even consider my profile if they were interested only in React candidates, such a waste of time.

Question 1
Code assignment to render a form with dynamic fields based on the API response.
Disappointed they won’t consider a remote candidate. Overall the interview went well, but as soon as they realized I wasn’t going to move to headquarters they were done with me.
